This is a quick mini guide to import Facebook Ads data to Looker Studio with the help of Two Minute Reports (TMR).
Note: You would require a free trial or a basic plan of Two minute Reports to use the below methods
Method 1: Import Facebook Ads using Create Report from Scratch
1. Open TMR home page for Looker Studio and click the Account section on the top bar. Choose your team, if you are in any. You will have the connectors page open, choose Facebook Ads from the list.
2. Start creating your data source by authorizing your Facebook Account with Two Minute Reports. Choose query configs and start creating your new query. Choose your newly created Data source and Ad accounts. You can also add any attribution if needed.
3. Once your query is created and saved, Click on Create Report placed at the top right corner. Now choose Create Report from scratch at the top. Now, add your data source and query for Looker Studio and your Report will finally be ready to start working with your data.
Method 2: Import Facebook Ads using Looker Studio Templates of TMR ( Steps 1 and 2 will be the same as method 1 )
1. Open TMR home page for Looker Studio and click the Account section on the top bar. Choose your team, if you are in any. You will have the connectors page open, choose Facebook Ads from the list.
2. Start creating your data source by authorizing your Facebook Account with Two Minute Reports. Choose query configs and start creating your new query. Choose your newly created Data source and Ad accounts. You can also add any attribution if needed.
3. Once your query is created and saved, Click on Create Report placed at the top right corner. Now, choose any Facebook Ads template from the list below. Add your data source and query for Looker Studio and start working on your Template.
4. This Template will have all your data updated and you can also customize the charts, graphs, and dates in the Template.
