HAMARI PAHCHAN-A NOBLE STORY

Since childhood I have been a big foodie. Name any food item and I can assure you that I will know majority of them. But with time I realized that there is greater pleasure in feeding others than having a delightful meal all by myself. This simple thought escalated to different new horizons and within no time I found myself developing a interest towards doing something for the betterment of the society. As people say “Your thoughts are mere illusions unless you jot them down and work on them”. This is when I got to know about the Delhi based ngo ,HAMARI PAHCHAN. As the name suggest, it focuses on aiding people regardless of their gender, status, caste , to have a better future to look forward to.

NGO has implemented it’s various projects like Drishti project that focuses on child education , Sukhad project it’s area of focus is menstrual hygiene awareness , skill development that provides employment to underprivileged people who are in need of work. Amongst all, my passion deeply resonate with the “skill development for the underprivileged”. I believe , education is a integral part of one’s life, but the sad reality is most of our population consider education to be a luxury due of the unavailability of resources for the same. Thus, it is very essential for individuals to be financially Independent, to treat each other with respect and consequently, value education.

NGO was founded by sir Tarun Mathur in the year 2015 right after the dreadful ‘Nirbhya case’ that left the whole country in a huge shock which took place in the year 2012. This incident set on Sir Tarun Mathur to start “Save Delhi , Brave Delhi drive” , through which cctvs were installed in the different corners of the national capital in collaboration with state government to create a safe environment for the people and it lead to the establishment of Hamari Pahchan. Let’s collaborate and join hands together to make the vision of our founder more stronger and together embark towards the “Vikshit Bharat” that all of us are looking forward to.
