‘I developed a passion for interior design from an early age’

eha Pal, who completed Bachelor in Interior Design from School of Design & Visual Arts (SDVA) at Apeejay Stya University (ASU), Gurugram, is currently working in a design consultation office as an intern. Her role involves a variety of tasks, including Photoshop, and so on.Speaking with the Apeejay Newsroom about her plans, she says doing her masters is on the cards. Read edited excerpts:

 Neha, what all work do you manage at the office?

Photoshop and other design work. My aim is to learn various skills so that I am prepared to take up any design related task.

So, what inspired you to join the field of interior design?

My father is also in this field. Thus, I developed a passion for interior design from an early age. His work inspired me to pursue this career.

And how was your time at ASU?

I have great memories from my time at ASU. I learned different types of design software and design arrangements, and the teachers guided us well throughout our studies. Their support was invaluable.

Did you make friends on campus?

Yes, I had many friends. I also took part in several extracurricular activities like yoga, painting, poster making, and many other events, which made my time at ASU even more enriching.
