An ethical marketing advice from a notorious comic book villain…

A popular quote from the movie…. The Dark Knight

======

“If you’re good at something, never do I for free”

======

I got that from the joker

This mostly apply in business, but generally every area of your life. But in this email, I want to mostly touch on the business side

What I see most people do, especially on social media is give people free value every time and shy away from selling the things they would normally give for free

Listen….

If you have something that can genuinely solve a particular problem your client has, it’s only ethical that you sell people that solution (provided it really actually solve their problem)

Now there’s nothing wrong with posting /giving valuable content online for free

But just remember your main goal is also to make sales with every content or post you make either on email, YT, IG etc.….

Try to combine your content with something you wanna sell to your list in a way that sends the person consuming our content to either your sales page (to buy), opt in page (to get in your email list, and nurture them to become buying customers) or content in another platform (to consume and sell them something that solves their problem)

Best way to do this is telling your target audience (email list) what to do but not how to do it.

The how to is where your offer comes in.

The solution is your offer

Doing it in a way that the consumers of your content genuinely wan to in a non-forceful or salesy way

In an entertaining way too like telling stories that tie into what you are offering

I don’t wanna make this post to long but if you wanna some demonstration as well as examples on how I this with my emails go here:
