300 types of canned coffee products distributed nationwide across various coffee roasters and retailers are being recalled.

According to US Food and Drug Administration Snapchill LLC a Wisconsin based company is recalling all of its canned coffee products within expiration date because they learned the company manufacturing method could lead a potential danger from food poisoning.

According to US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Botulism is rare but severe illness that can cause breathing problem, muscle paralysis, and death.

The FDA adds symptoms can start from 6 hours to two weeks after eating food that contains the toxin.

The recall alert states manufacturing method could lead to growth and production of deadly toxin, botulinum toxin in low acid canned foods.

The recalled products were sold under range of roaster and brand names and in variety of metal can sizes ranging from 7 oz to 12 oz.

Impact products either be destroyed or returned to snapchill or place of purchase for a refunds report the FDA.

The FDA adds that no illnesses have reported as result of recalled products that Snapchill is not aware of any products containing the toxin.
