If you’ve read any of my books or articles (of which there are many), you’re already aware that I often reference the movie The Matrix, comparing it to our so-called current reality. If you’ve been living under a rock since 1999 and aren’t familiar with — or haven’t seen — any of The Matrix movies, you need to. As a series, they’re some of the best films ever made, and as a Looking Glass or glimpse into the future — or where we’re headed as a society — they’re, in my opinion, a pretty good source of information.
In my book YOU ARE ILLUMINATI, I actually use The Matrix movies and some of their main characters to explain in detail much of our fake reality, and how people can navigate through it for maximum success. I back up my hypothesis with actual government documentation dating back to the 1970s that discusses a Matrix-style reality built for us after World War II — 1954, to be exact. This system I’m speaking about is still in full operation today, and most people haven’t a clue they’re caught in its web.
This article isn’t about the negative side of the Matrix we live in today — it’s about the positive side. “Where there is darkness, there is also light.” I don’t know who first said that quote, but it’s 100 percent factual. You know it, and I know it to be true. In your life, when times are good — really good — something almost always goes wrong. To the contrary, when life is seemingly out of control — at its lowest point — something can switch, and things seem to turn around for the better in an instant.
I don’t think I know of — or have read about — a person who hasn’t had these types of life-altering experiences. It’s almost as if we, as human beings, are individually sitting on an old-style scale on which our life is measured. When this scale is too far out of balance — for the person we are at that moment in time — sand is added to balance the scale before it tips too far. Can you relate to this idea from your personal life experience?
What does this have to do with “Energy Momentum Transfer”?
Well, the Matrix I’m speaking about is a system, and it seems to always be moving in and out of balance. Therefore, there also has to be the energy or force of momentum in this system. Let me not get too far ahead of myself here.
The definition of momentum is: The quantity of motion of a moving body, measured as a product of its mass and velocity.
What does this have to do with you and me, the Matrix, reality, the present, the past, the future, positivity, negativity, etc.? Control — and the power you have over your decisions.
Let me explain. Many people move through life as if they have little or no control over the outcomes of their situations and circumstances. They place the power of getting the results they want out of life in the hands of someone or something else. In the beginning of The Matrix, Neo (the main character) had this problem too. He didn’t believe he had the power to change the things that were seemingly wrong in his reality. He was wrong. Neo — like you — forgot to factor in the law of momentum.
Momentum Energy Is on a Delay Switch
Momentum energy is on a kind of delay switch, where the power and energy you put into anything shows up after the “motion of a moving body.” The power and force are returned. Later in the movie and as the story progressed Neo discovered this momentum energy.
What this means is, when you focus on mental and physical tasks that will change your life, you aren’t likely going to see the results right away. The energy you put in needs time — or the perception of it, according to your frame of time references — to show you the ROI (Return on Investment).
The fruits of your labor aren’t going to show up until there is some growth during the season of its planting.
You can also think about the law of momentum as input/output statements in a computer program. When you put in the initial work, that’s the input. When you see the results, that’s the output.
Sometimes the programmer — you — must work on the program for many hours, days, weeks, months, even years, learning to be a better coder as you go. If you program or code long enough, you’ll become a much better and faster programmer.
The Active Power Behind the Scenes
The lesson here is that when you think nothing is happening in your life, this is actually the most active time — because the work you’ve put in is catching up, based on the amount of energy you initially invested.
When you look at what you perceive as now, it has little to do with what’s actually going on around you — it’s simply your perception.
If you roll a ball down a steep hill and then turn your back on it or close your eyes, the ball is still rolling, even though you lose track of its speed and position. If you wait just a little while before looking again, you’ll see its position is vastly different from what you imagined.
The energy you initially put into starting the ball down the hill continues to increase, even though your work is done. You just need to wait and see where your efforts land.
Stay Consistent — But Don’t Scatter Your Energy
This doesn’t mean you only start one ball down the hill and then sit around doing nothing. That’s where many people make their biggest mistake.
They focus on tracking the movement of one ball rolling down the hill, and if it doesn’t take the path they think it should, their negative energy or emotion gets involved.
Start that one ball down the hill, know you’ve put in the proper energy, and then repeat the process over and over each day. You’ll discover that, by the time you stop to see the impact the balls had when they reached the bottom, the result is greater than you expected.
This also doesn’t mean you should start a bunch of different-colored balls down the hill. In other words — don’t start multiple projects all at once.
Keeping track of multiple projects becomes increasingly difficult as they each gain traction and momentum. Instead, choose one color of balls, start them down the hill one at a time, and don’t forget: the returned energy may be on a short delay, so be patient.
Your work — if true — will reveal the abundant fruits of your mental and physical labor.
