Hamari Pahchan
In 2015 a haven of humanity begin, molded with hands of complete goodwill. This conception was “Hamari Pahchan”, who’s incredible efforts have brightened the world just a little more and turned it into one of the best and most famous NGOs in all of Delhi.What separates Hamari Pahchan from other NGOs is that they not only provide the unfortunate and underprivileged with necessities and help, but they nurture the individuality and identities of people, and help them grow into their personalities, so that they not only survive in the world, but also live uniquely, an opportunity that is mostly deprived from the impoverished. This is indicated by their name itself- “Hamari Pahchan”- Our Identity, because our identities are truly paramount.
Hamari Pahchan has several different projects- initiatives that they have taken up for several distinct important causes. There is Project Drishti, which is a cause for providing education to the underprivileged children, Project Sukhad; an initiative providing awareness concerning menstrual hygiene for women and distributing health kits, Skill Development (Providing employment opportunities to the underprivileged), and Supporting the Elderly. Along with these, the NGO has also taken up many other initiatives like assistance it times of COVID-19, which provided a helping hand to many people in the pandemic, and others.
The NGO truly proves how a little kindness can go an incredibly long way, especially because the world is a tough place to live in and we could all use a little proof that it can be considerate too. The magnanimous team of Hamari Pahchan are working towards a better future for us all and it is applaudable how many feats they have accomplished. Education for more than 11250 children, more than 2000 women with employment opportunities, distribution of more than 10,000 menstrual hygiene kits and an unbelievable 1500+ corona kits. I hope that with all these benevolent endeavors we have all trudged a few steps further towards humanity and helped many people sprout their wings.
As the saying goes, “One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.”
