It’s a hat-trick: Apeejay faculty’s research paper gets published in a prestigious journal

Dr. Vernika Agarwal, Associate Professor at Apeejay School of Management (ASM), has recently published her research in the Global Journal of Flexible Systems Management (ABDC-A, SCI) titled “Contributing Factors for Building a Flexible Supply Chain in the Digital Age: Studying Their Impact on SDGs”.

Leveraging advanced methodologies like the fuzzy Delphi method and fuzzy best–worst method, the study systematically identifies, prioritises, and ranks factors such as supplier diversity, technology integration, risk management, and human capital development. The Apeejay faculty Dr. Agarwal’s findings underline the pivotal role of digital technologies, data analytics, and agile methodologies in fostering responsive and sustainable supply chains.

Sharing her thoughts, Dr. Agarwal said, “In today’s fast-evolving digital landscape, building flexible and adaptable supply chains is not just an operational necessity but also a pathway to achieving global sustainability objectives.”

Dr Agarwal who has published several research papers on varied themes further added, “This study bridges the gap between supply chain strategies and the broader goals of the SDGs, offering actionable insights for policymakers and business leaders.”

The study presents a comprehensive framework, emphasising the need for investment in digital integration, agility, and collaboration to navigate challenges and seize opportunities in the digital age.
