In accordance with the plans of the regime in North Korea, high-tech workers in North Korea use artificial intelligence in order to build false identities and thus be accepted to jobs in the Western high-tech industry. The result is that the salary of those workers brings millions in foreign currency to North Korea, thus circumventing the sanctions imposed on the isolated country. In addition to this, those employees also try to inject spyware into the servers of the companies where they are employed.

Tricking companies into getting jobs
Thousands of North Koreans have managed to trick companies into getting jobs, while the wages they receive flow millions in foreign currency to the isolated country. This is while bypassing international sanctions designed to limit its weapons development capabilities.
High-tech companies in Silicon Valley and media companies are among the companies that the impersonating candidates tried to get hired on. And in three failed cases they tried to be admitted to federal government agencies in the United States.
