How to Play
The Power Blackjack game begins with a phase called Betting Time, which lasts for 12 seconds, requiring players to make quick decisions. To take part in the hand, players must place an initial wager known as the Ante Bet. After this, participants have the opportunity to make up to four additional side bets:
- Hot3 — Participants place bets on the probability that the total of the player’s first two cards, along with the dealer’s face-up card, will amount to 19, 20, or 21, or that the combination will feature three sevens.
- 21 + 3 — This bet involves the player’s first two cards combined with the dealer’s visible card, forming a three-card poker hand.
- Any Pair — This assesses whether the player’s initial two cards form a pair.
- BustIt — The payout is based on the dealer going over the limit. The more cards the dealer draws beyond this limit, the greater the potential payout.
When the Betting Time comes to an end, the dealer will reveal two cards face up for the player and will place one card face up and one card face down for themselves. This initiates the first action of the game round.
At this point, the player must evaluate their options and determine their next move based on the cards they have been dealt. They have a variety of choices to consider:
- Players should continue to draw cards until they decide to stand or their total exceeds 21. The objective is to outmaneuver the dealer by obtaining a hand value as close to 21 as possible without going over, or by causing the dealer to bust while you maintain a valid hand.
- Accepting the cards you have and choose not to draw any more.
- If a player holds a pair, they can opt to split it into two distinct hands and play each one separately.
- You may also choose to double, triple or quadruple your initial wager by drawing just one additional card. This option is available for split hands as well.
Once all players have made their decisions, it is the dealer’s turn to play. The dealer must follow specific rules: if their hand totals 17 or more, they must stand. If the total is less than 17, the dealer is required to draw more cards until they reach at least 17 or exceed the limit and bust. It is essential to remember that the dealer stands on both Soft and Hard 17.
