CRIMES IN PAKISTAN
Street crimes are one of the biggest problem of Pakistan, it is a serious issue for country which needs to be solved. People are worried about their safety. these crimes includes snatching, robbery and pick pocketing etc. It is a cancer for country which badly affects it’s popularity around the world.
WHAT ARE STREET CRIMES? AND THE CAUSES BEHIND THEM
The criminal activities which occurs at public places are consider as street crimes. Snatching, robbery and pick pocketing comes under criminal activities
Snatching:
When someone force fully grabs something from others like mobile phone or purse etc.
Robbery:
When someone threaten to others and pick up all the accessories from them comes under in robbery and the person who is involved in this act called robber.
Pick pocketing:
A act which is done by a person who steals something from others pocket or bag without them noticing.
Causes behind these crimes :
As we know anything which happens, there is a certain cause behind it.so same thing goes to this problem.There are several causes behind these activities like Poverty, lack of Education, Drugs and, Unemployment etc.
If people do not have basic Education so they might be choose wrong ways to get money moreover people become part of these activities because they do not have money to survive or live better live so they choose these ways or short cuts to earn money and fulfills their dreams.
EFFECTS ON SOCIETY:
These crimes spreads shadow of fear and anxiety among citizen stops the growth of economy and society also drags the country’s overall image to darkness.
Remedies to get rid of this issue?
There are several things which are helpful for this issues including Better Policing, Public awareness, Education and Employment etc. By providing public awareness, jobs and educational opportunities the country can get rid of this issue also increasing police officers in public places can also helpful for this problem.
Street crimes are serious issue in Pakistan which damages the image of country this issue needs to be solved. Because it is more dangerous than any other external threat moreover the citizens of country are not feeling save inside the boundaries of it. Which do not only damages Economy but also damages cultural norms and ethics.
