You will find her in the air at one moment and back again smoothly landing on the ground the second. Meet Tanishi Chandra, a student of class IX at Apeejay School, Kharghar. In a candid interview, she shared that competing at this level taught her the importance of resilience, discipline, and embracing the journey beyond just winning.

Tell us about your recent achievements in aerobics.
Recently, I took part in the CBSE National Aerobics Championship and secured a place in the semi-finals. A couple of weeks back, I won the Gold at the Raigad District Championship.
Who is your favourite acrobat and why?
Daniyel Del, a miner by trade, combines his passion for acrobatic gymnastics with his day job. He makes me see that nothing would stop you from pursuing an interest. When you work hard and put in time, the tree will always bear fruits.
How did Apeejay support you in your craft?
My school PE teacher gave me guidance and support, which matters a lot to me. She has always encouraged me. My coach has also supported my participation and encouraged my passion.
