Copywriting clients have feelings too….

A week ago, my mom was telling me about how terrible the engineers who were sent to renovate her house were

They did a lousy job with the house wiring because there would be times where a short circuit would occur out of the bloom.

She would later on call the engineer that did the wiring to come check the root cause of the problem, but she would flake on her and at times come up with lousy excuses to not show up

What i found painful about this situation is that the workers were paid a lot of money, only to do a lousy job

There was no such thing as a refund, or anyone to come fix the mess that was done…nothing. She just has to live with it

And ever since then she has been very skeptical on hiring anyone to do some fixing at her house

Why do I bring this story up?

Because that’s the same way some Copywriting Clients feel when it comes to hiring anyone online

They have dealt with people that who didn’t what they were doing or did a sloppy job with an assigned work and ran of with all the money they were paid and never to be found

So…If you are a freelance copywriter reading this, be who you say you are and don’t be a lazy bum like the rest of them. For one, clients won’t stop rehiring you and two, you are likely to get even more clients just from your one client through referrals

Now I have a theory that i m currently testing it on myself, on how to get copywriting clients. maybe you can test it on yourself too

you can demonstrate your copywriting work by posting what you are up to in your copywriting work. Share your wins, or what mistakes you see most people in your copywriting niche do

write everyday

submit those writing to social media platform or article writing sites

this makes you be seen as a leader in your field and i think (again I want to test this on myself, I don’t like giving info that I haven’t applied myself) it’s how you get hired easily without even you begging to be hired

Anyways, I just thought I could bring this up to all the freelance copywriters wondering why they don’t get clients
