We’ve heard the terms “fitness” and “health” throughout our entire lives. When we say things like “fitness is the key” and “health is wealth,” we are using them ourselves. What is meant by the term “health”? ‘Being well’ is implied by this. When someone is psychologically and physically well, we refer to them as healthy and fit.

“Good health is not something we can buy. However, it can be a precious savings account.”

Good health and fitness are not something one can achieve entirely on one’s own. It depends on one’s physical environment and the quality of food one eats. We live in villages, towns, and cities.

Role of nutritious Diet on our Health and Fitness

 The first place where fitness starts is food. We should eat nutritious food. Food high in protein, vitamins, minerals, and Carbohydrates is essential. Protein is necessary for body growth. However, eating food in an uneven quantity is not good for the body. Taking essential nutrients in an adequate amount is called a balanced diet.

               “Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dinner like a pauper.”

Include vegetables, fruits, and pulses in your daily diet. One must have a three-course meal. Having roughage helps in cleaning meals. Lowering fat intake in the diet helps avoid heart and cholesterol problems.

Impact of Exercise on our health

“Exercise not only changes your body, it changes your mind, your attitude and your mood.”

 Routine exercise helps improve our muscle power. Exercise helps maintain good oxygen supply and blood flow throughout the body. The heart and lungs work efficiently. Our bones get strong, and our joints have pain-free movement. We should spend at least twenty minutes on our exercise daily morning walk to improve our fitness level. Exercise burns fat and controls the cholesterol level in the body. Playing sports outside, such as football, volleyball, and cricket, keeps our bodies fit. Regular exercise maintains our body shape.

 Meditation, yoga, and health

 Meditation and yoga have been part of our lives since ancient times. They make us not only physically fit but mentally strong as well. Meditation improves our concentration level. Our minds relax, and our thinking becomes positive.

A healthy mind is the key to a healthy bodyYoga reduces stress and strengthens our mental and physical stamina. Yoga lowers our blood pressure. With yoga, a strong bond with nature is established. Meditation is considered the best way to fight depression. A person stays happier when he/she is fit and healthy. A fit, healthy person is less prone to chronic disease. The healthy mind reacts to be in a pressure situation. Self-confidence makes a person increase. The risk of heart failure is reduced drastically. With the increased immunity power, the body could fight cancerous cells. The intensity of the fracture is decreased with regular excise.
