Costura Design Collective is a young design practice led by Shardul Jain, who graduated as an Architect and started his career in 2015 with an internationally acclaimed firm Morphogenesis, followed by Post graduate in Architecture from Barcelona, Spain in 2018, where he found his inclination to begin his own design practice. He is an avid design enthusiast who thoroughly delves into every aspect of the design process, from the smallest nuts and bolts to the grander scheme of things.
The inspiration for the name stems from the Spanish word “Costura,” meaning to weave, which reflects our approach of seamlessly weaving our design ideology with various aspects involved like the client’s spatial vision, specific requirements, while emphasizing on the site context and surroundings. This ensures a fine amalgamation of our perspective with client’s/stakeholders’ inputs, various essential services, site’s response and likewise, resulting in a meticulously balanced outcome.
