What is gut fat?

Gut fat is the kind of fat that covers the internal organs of a person in the abdomen. This kind of fat is invisible from the outside, unlike the fat in other organs like the liver and intestine. It is way more harmful to health than a person can think as it can cause serious health issues like diabetes and cardiac diseases. It is possible to remove gut fat by having a healthy and balanced diet, doing exercise regularly and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Gut fat is also known as toxic fat as it is very dangerous and causes harm to the organs present in the deep abdomen.

The best way to remove gut fat is by doing regular exercise and having healthy diet.It is not possible for a person to change the genetics or hormones of his/her body but one can reduce the effects by:

  •       Avoiding alcohol consumption: Alcohol consumption contributes a lot in gaining weight so, a person must avoid consuming it

  •       Asthma (respiratory disorder)
  •       Cancer
  •       Dementia(memory loss)
  •       Fertility disorder
  •       Gout and liver disease
  •       Pain in lower back region

A person’s waist circumference can tell how much gut fat is around the organs.Risk of a chronic medical condition is higher if waist circumference is more  than 80 cm for women and 94 cm for men.

We can conclude that good eating habits, good sleep,proper exercise and a good lifestyle can help a lot in removing gut fat.
