The Medium Magazine, got in contact with the “not so popular” couple of Nick Kremm (producer and film director) and Neveen Hisham, his girlfriend. She gave Medium a variety of answers to our questions. Who is she? What do their relationship constist of?
We have all the answers we need below our hands. When asked how her relationship with Nick has influenced her personal and professional life, Neveen humbly shared that the transformation has been mutual. “He hasn’t changed me as much as I changed him,” she revealed. Their relationship is a testament to the idea that true love involves growth on both sides. “We both learn from each other, and it’s always good to have someone by your side to help you realize things about yourself,” she said.
Neveen emphasized that Nick has been a pillar of support throughout her university years, providing emotional encouragement. Although she isn’t directly involved in the film industry, she contributes in her own way by attending events and supporting his creative ventures. “I try to help him as much as I can, but as you know, the industry he is working in is quite complicated for me,” she admitted. It’s this balance—offering support while carving their own paths—that defines their partnership.
One of the most striking aspects of their relationship is how it bridges two very different worlds. Neveen, an Egyptian from Alexandria, and Nick, a European filmmaker, had to navigate cultural differences early on. “I became more open,” Neveen reflected.
“We had a lot of middle grounds, and that’s why I got more accepting to be exposed to different cultures.”
Their mutual willingness to support each other’s backgrounds has taken them to new places—both literally and figuratively. For Neveen, traveling to Europe for the first time was a transformative experience, as was Nick’s visit to the Middle East. Despite the challenges of long-distance love, Neveen and Nick are deeply committed to building a future together. “We are very serious about what we have,” Neveen said. Their plans for the future are ambitious yet grounded in their shared vision. “We are planning to get married, and I will move to Madrid with him,” Neveen shared.

Beyond the usual traits, it’s Nick’s creativity and thoughtfulness that stand out. “He always shows his love to me in creative and artistic ways,” she revealed. From writing her a book to composing a song.

A student of interior design at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Alexandria, she has her sights set on specializing in set design—a field that aligns with her artistic sensibilities and complements Nick’s industry. “Nothing because of Nick’s work, but because I find it a way to find more opportunities,” she clarified. While she is not a “spotlight person,” Neveen sees the potential for collaboration with her boyfriend in the future.
Her career goals, however, are not dictated by their relationship. Nick’s influence has been more about encouragement than direction. “He always motivates me, and we both motivate each other to be better,” she said.
Neveen acknowledges that maintaining a relationship across borders is far from easy. But for her and Nick, the effort is worth it. “In our case, it makes us get stronger,” she said. Their approach is practical yet heartfelt, staying connected through communication, planning their future, and finding ways to support each other’s goals.
