Aarushi Bose from Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication secures a job offer from Just Dial; shares her aspirations
She always had a love for writing and when advertising and marketing skills were taught to her at Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication (AIMC), it only deepened that passion. Meet Aarushi Bose who has recently secured a content writing role with Just Dial. Crediting the support and guidance of her mentors and professors at Apeejay she mentioned, “They helped me improve my writing skills through one-on-one sessions, regular writing practice, and detailed feedback on every piece I submitted. I would like to thank my professors for their constant support and for guiding me at every step. I had the privilege of learning under such supportive faculty that I genuinely cannot imagine what I would have done without them.”
The young professional further added, “I had enrolled in Apeejay’s Advertising and Marketing Communications course with the hope of gaining skills necessary to work in a big corporate setup — and that is exactly where I landed. Whether it was copywriting for advertisements or content writing for long-form marketing collaterals, I truly enjoyed learning and doing it all, especially during my BCS project throughout the year.”

What are your learning aspirations in this new role?
I’ve always loved writing, and with this new role, I’m looking forward to honing my skills—not just in terms of expression, but also by developing key marketing abilities like search engine optimisation, copywriting, and more. I’m currently exploring different avenues in writing across lifestyle, food, fashion, and beyond, which has been incredibly exciting. It’s a fun and enriching experience, as I get to dive deeper into each of these categories and learn how to craft better, more impactful content for them.
