How to Be the Guy Who Hosts the Best Bachelor Parties

Hosting and organizing a stag party is great fun. There is so much that is normally off-limits that suddenly becomes okay. It is a chance for you to coordinate a day of pranks and fun that would otherwise be considered inappropriate because it is the last time that the bachelor is going to let his hair down before he is shackled to a ball and chain. We know that this is not really the case and that marriage is a great thing that should be cherished and looked forward to, but regardless, a stag party is an opportunity to let the hair down and go wild. With that in mind, here are a few things to consider bringing into the mix when it is your turn to organize a bachelor’s event.

Make it a day out

A good stag should never just be for an evening; it needs to be a whole day affair. Google something like ‘bucks party Newcastle’ to find a company that specialises in coordinating these types of events and look and see what they offer. Booze buses or cruises, games and activities like paintball or carting and ideally some scantily clad ladies. Most companies that host and organise these types of events regularly will have a menu of options available that you can choose from. Plan smartly, use a project manager or event planner and you are on the way to winning handsomely.

Overstock the alcohol

Whatever you do, you need to make sure that you don’t run out of alcohol. Stag parties are traditionally all about the alcohol and whatever you normally consume, you can expect to drink a lot more during this event. The alcohol is not just for loosening up the guests and creating the mood early doors, it is also about the memories and the games. Boat races and shooters will all be part of the day. There may well be fines for the bachelor. Anticipate drinking a lot and make sure you do not run out. There is nothing more of a downer than a party that runs out of booze.

Focus on the buck

The aim of the party is to celebrate the bachelor’s, playback the memories of his wild youth and herald in a new phase of his life. Don’t be afraid to dress him up and dish out fines and tasks that put him firmly in the public spotlight. It doesn’t need to be anything humiliating, but it needs to be a day that stands out for him as he moves through life, as a husband and a father.

Avoid regrets

As much as it is better to regret the things that you have done rather than the things that you haven’t, there is always a line. Go all out during the party but don’t go so far past the line that people are endangered. We are talking about things like drunk driving or outrageously over-the-top antics with the strippers. Use ride-calling services like Uber to avoid having to drive drunk and, if nudity is happening, make sure that you hire proper strippers and not prostitutes – the latter is not going to sit well with the bride-to-be, the former will be passable.
