Front View:-

Blinking Green LED:-
- Linksys Extender is starting up.
- Firmware installation is under process.
- Device resetting to the factory defaults.
Solid Green LED:-
- Linksys RE7000 WiFi range extender device is now ready to use.
Solid Amber LED:-
- Extender has a weak connection with the existing router. To fix this, unplug the extender power plug and place it closer to the router.
Blinking Amber:-
- The RE7000 Linksys extender does not connect with the host router or any other error.
Side View:-
At the side of this RE7000 Linksys extender device you can see the two buttons i.e., WPS & reset button.
WPS Button:- WPS button helps to connect the extender with the router quickly.
Reset Button:- In RE7000 extender if you are facing issues before and after setup then press the reset button to discard all the previous settings and do the installation process again.
Bottom View:-
At the bottom of the device, you see the see LED just at the top of the ethernet port.
LED:- LED light confirms an ethernet connection with the host router.
Ethernet Port:- Attach the wired device with wireless network by an ethernet cable such as laptop or computer. Now, the green LED starts blinking when the ethernet device is connected and active on this port. The light also starts blinking when the extender is sending or receiving data over an ethernet port.
Configure Linksys AC1900+ Extender
There are two ways to use the Linksys RE7000 WiFi range extender through wired or wirelessly. The wireless range WiFi extender repeats the WiFi signals. The wired range extender creates or makes a new WiFi hotspot when connected to the router with an ethernet cable. Both methods require the router with a working internet connection.
Setup Linksys Extender Wirelessly:-
- Into an electrical power outlet plug the Linksys WiFi range extender or near to the existing router.
- Now, wait for the indicator LED which is at the front of the device to start blinking amber. Further, press the WiFi protected setup button of your main router. Within the next two minutes complete the next step.
- Press the RE7000 Linksys extender WPS button.
- Later, wait to see the solid green indicator LED which determines that extender successfully linked with the router.
- Then, take out the extender power plug from an electrical socket and place the power plug where you are facing slow internet speed error.

Setup Through Access Point Mode:-
Use this AP mode method if your existing router does not support or have a WPS button.
- Early, repeat the same process plug extender in an electrical working socket.
- Now, wait a minute.
- After that, attach the laptop or computer with the Linksys range extender setup network.
- On a connected computer, open a browser and fill 192.168.1.1 default IP address in the URL bar.
- In the end, follow all the display directions to finish the setup process by this method.

Tips To Fix Error:-
- Plugin the Linksys extender, midway between your router and the area without WiFi.
- Make sure that you have at least 50% of WiFi signals from the main router at the point on the device you use for setup.

- After that, from an electrical socket take out the extender plug.
- Later, wait and place back the extender plug in the socket.
- In the end, press the power button to power on the extender.
- Upgrade firmware time to time:-
- To upgrade extender firmware, go to the Linksys web management page.
- After that, fill in all the default information such as username and password.
- Now. tap on network administration and then tap on software installation.
- If any software file is pending then install it. The installation process will take 10 to 15 minutes to complete it.
- Reset all default settings by pressing the reset button with a paperclip for 10 seconds.
